This Employment Ontario program operates from April 1st to September 30th and services students between the ages of 15 and 30 who are planning to return to school in the fall.
This program assists eligible employers with the hiring of summer students by providing a $2.00 per hour wage subsidy.
Employers are expected to meet the eligibility criteria for participation in the SJS program.

All Summer Jobs Service subsidies, for 2013, have been allocated to employers, in the counties of Stormont and Dundas. We would be happy to accept your application and add you to our waiting list. Should subsidies become available this Summer, we will contact you.

Step 1 – Complete SJS Employer Registration and Contract and submit to the Student Centre either by fax, in person, mail or e-mail.
Step 2 – Upon hiring student(s), please have each student complete the SJS Participant Information form and return to us (within 10 business days) via fax, in person, mail or e-mail.
Step 3 – Before the student(s) last day of work and/or October 5th of this year, please submit the SJS Employer Claim Form as well as the Employer Satisfaction Survey and Client Service Delivery Evaluation by fax, in person, mail or e-mail. If you are unable to obtain student signature, you may MUST provide proof of payroll in order to process subsidy payment.
