Job Zone d’emploi is the service provider for employment services through the Ontario Disability Support program in the counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. This program is available to all those with disabilities, who are in receipt of ODSP-Income Support or possess disabilities which are verifiable through a designated professional. The program is designed to assist eligible persons to re enter the workforce successfully. A team of skilled professionals can provide specialized services to minimize barriers and help participants develop feasible goals and reintegrate into gainful, meaningful employment. Job Zone d’emploi assists individuals with all aspects of job identification, job development and skills training, from identifying what kind of work is available, to negotiating employment opportunities with employers and contacting employees and employers to discuss progress in the workplace. As well as providing supports, Job Zone d’emploi can assist employed clients and their employers to resolve situations before jobs are lost.
