Housekeeper

Duties include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, laundry, ironing, cleaning, vacuuming and dusting. Attention to detail is important as our guests expect a five-star environment. Perfect job for a recent graduate looking for experience in the hospitality/tourism industry or for a semi-retired person looking to supplement their income. Candidates should have basic housekeeping skills but I'm also willing to provide on-site training for the right candidate. Looking for someone who takes pride in their work and who takes the time to make sure everything is done properly before they move on to the next task. Sometimes, if there is a large turnover expected, employees may be asked to work a Saturday or Sunday shift. A dog lives at the Inn and so the employee must be comfortable around animals.
An Asset or like to have - some basic cooking skills to help with breakfasts when the owner is away.

New employees usually start at 20/hr for the first two weeks while they're learning the ropes and then are increased to 22/hr. There is a possibility that the right candidate could be asked to run the operation for 10 days in September when the owner goes on holidays. (This would result in salary increase for the holiday period).
