Job Overview
Monmet Ltd. is a specialty metals engineering company based in South Glengarry, Ontario. We source custom castings, forgings and specialty metal components for heavy industry clients across Canada and the United States — including mining, defence, cement, and power generation. We're a small, highly specialized team with a global supplier network and a strong reputation built on technical precision.
We're looking for a Sales Administrator to be the connective tissue between our customers, our European suppliers, and our internal operations. You'll own the day-to-day administration of the sales pipeline — from inbound inquiry through to shipment and invoicing — across cycles that span months and multiple time zones.
In this role, you will:
* Receive customer RFQs, prepare quotations, and follow up until the deal is won or lost
* Issue purchase orders to suppliers and manage order execution through to delivery
* Coordinate international shipping, customs documentation, and third-party inspections
* Keep customer and supplier communication clear and on schedule
* Maintain CRM records, produce weekly sales reports, and support the leadership team
This is a high-visibility role in a small company — your work directly shapes the customer experience and the team's ability to deliver. Hybrid work: a few days per week in-office preferred, with flexibility for the right candidate.
