SALARY:                      $22.20 per hour plus 12% in lieu
of benefits and 6% vacation pay.
 
DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
The individual will be assigned to the beach monitoring program; will collect beach water samples, perform data entry tasks using
computerized database and other tasks as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
·        
Post secondary education student.
·        
Education or experience in environmental studies would be an asset.
·        
Good communications skills in both official languages.
·        
Basic typing skills.
·        
Familiar with Windows type environment.
·        
Demonstrates initiative, innovation, creativity and motivation.
·        
Demonstrates good organizational skills.
·        
Ability to work independently.
·        
A valid driver’s
licence and access to an automobile is required.

L’individu sera affectée au programme de surveillance des plages, prélèvera des
échantillons d'eau, effectuera de l'entrée de données au moyen d'une base
de données informatisée et accomplira les tâches connexes qui lui sera
confiées.
 
COMPÉTENCES:
·        
Étudiant du niveau poste secondaire.
·        
La formation ou l'expérience en études environnementales sera un
atout.
·        
Bonnes aptitudes à communiquer dans les deux langues officielles.
·        
Compétences de base en dactylographie.
·        
Bonne connaissance de l’environnement Windows.
·        
Initiative, innovation, créativité et motivation démontrées.
·        
Bon sens de l’organisation démontré.
·        
Capacité à travailler en autonomie.
·        
Le candidat ou la candidate doit détenir un permis de conduire valide et
avoir accès à une voiture.
