Job Description
Broadband Maintenance Inc. is a leading telecommunications construction company servicing customers in the Ottawa and surrounding area. We are currently seeking a highly motivated construction labourer to join our growing business.
Required Skills/Experience
We offer extensive training, opportunity for advancement, a competitive wage (commensurate with experience), as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Applicants being considered will possess the following skills and abilities:
- Valid Ontario G Drivers License (or equivalent) with a clean Drivers Abstract
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to read and write in English
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and in and around heavy equipment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Excavating existing conduit
- Physically fit
- Pulling and placing fibre optic cable
The following experience will be considered an asset:
- Experience working with mini-excavator, backhoe, and other heavy equipment
- Experience in landscaping, interlock, paving, and concrete
- Able to read blueprints and/or construction plans
- Experience in telecommunication construction
