Job Description

Broadband Maintenance Inc. is a leading telecommunications construction company servicing customers in the Ottawa and surrounding area. We are currently seeking a highly motivated construction labourer to join our growing business.

Applicants being considered will possess the following skills and abilities:

• Valid Ontario G Drivers License (or equivalent) with a clean Drivers Abstract
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to read and write in English
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and in and around heavy equipment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Excavating existing conduit
• Physically fit
• Pulling and placing fibre optic cable

The following experience will be considered an asset:

• Experience working with mini-excavator, backhoe, and other heavy equipment
• Experience in landscaping, interlock, paving, and concrete
• Able to read blueprints and/or construction plans
• Experience in telecommunication construction
