EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
* MIG welding experience required
* Formal welding certification or trade diploma is an asset but not mandatory
* Ability to read basic drawings and measure accurately

EXPERIENCE
* Previous experience as a MIG welder in a production or fabrication environment
* Experience welding new steel; experience with aluminium and stainless steel is an asset
* Background in custom metal fabrication or industrial production preferred

SKILLS
* Strong MIG welding skills with consistent quality
* Ability to prepare material prior to welding
* Comfortable working with heavy material using adapted equipment
* Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Willingness to learn and operate additional equipment (shear, press brake, laser, waterjet, plasma, punch press, tube laser, etc.)
* Reliable, punctual, and safety‑minded

Two-week trial period. Starting pay is $26–$28 per hour. After that, pay can increase up to $30.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and quality of work.
