Job Overview

We are seeking a manager or employee with solid experience in a coffee shop or quick-service restaurant to help launch an exciting new project. The position can be offered on a fixed-term or open-ended contract, depending on the candidate’s profile and project development.

Job Description:

Working closely with the project owner, you will play a strategic and operational role in creating and setting up the business. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and recommending the necessary equipment and materials suited to the business activities
• Designing a coherent and appealing menu that meets the needs of the target clientele (truckers, local community)
• Defining the operational strategy: business processes, schedules, customer flow management, and service offerings
• Determining staffing needs: profiles, required headcount, recruitment and training planning

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience managing or working in a coffee shop or quick-service restaurant
• Initiative, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the project team
• Flexibility with working hours and availability
• French proficiency is a plus
