In-Person Working at Heights Training with Holmes Safety Training

Need your Working at Heights certificate?

We're hosting the training right here at Job Zone d'emploi in Cornwall with Holmes Safety Training, so you can get certified close to home. Whether you're already working, looking for work, or heading into a trade, this is a practical day that opens doors.

What you'll learn

Holmes Safety Training's Working at Heights: Fundamentals of Fall Protection course is approved by Ontario's Chief Prevention Officer. You'll cover your rights and responsibilities, spotting hazards, ladders, warning methods and barriers, personal fall protection equipment, anchor points and platforms, and rescue planning. Successful participants receive a certificate valid for 3 years.

What it costs

For Job Zone d'emploi clients: be registered as a client of Job Zone d'emploi before the training and we can help pay for it. Start your conversation here >

For Everyone else: you're welcome to join. You'll pay Holmes Safety Training directly.

Dates & Details

1. Wednesday, October 28 (register by October 22)
2. ‍Wednesday, November 11 (register by November 5)
3. ‍Wednesday, November 25 (register by November 19)

Time: 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Please note: our doors open at 8:30am.‍

Location: Job Zone d'emploi, 144 Pitt St, Cornwall, Ontario

‍Parking: Parking is available in the Warrington-Brown Parking Lot across the street from us.

‍Space: 12 spots per session. We're holding 5 for Job Zone d'emploi clients.

Once spots are filled, people who register will be added to a waitlist. If a spot becomes available, registrants will be notified.
