Position Details
Job Overview
- prepare sites to ensure maximum optimization of construction work procedures- build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use- pour concrete as instructed- use hand tools as per instructions- load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications- ensure that all work is being done in compliance with the company's protocols
Work Schedule:
Full-Time Seasonal Mon-Fri days
Required Skills/Experience
- able to cope with the physical demands of the job- enjoy practical and outdoor work- able to work as a team- reliable and self-motivated- able to read and understand safety instructions- completion of valid Working at Heights training certificate is a strong asset- projects are located across the Ottawa and Cornwall area, carpooling options are available- job classification may be adjusted to reflect evolving duties, career progression- unionized
