What you can get here

When you book a Tuesday appointment in Morrisburg, you get the same one-on-one support we offer in Cornwall:

  • Career counselling and a real conversation about what you're looking for
  • Resume and cover letter help
  • Interview preparation
  • Job search coaching and help finding openings across South Dundas and beyond
  • Information on skills training and retraining funding, including Better Jobs Ontario
  • Connections to local employers who are hiring
  • Service in English and French

Some things — like using our computers, printer and fax, or joining an on-site workshop — happen at our Cornwall office. We'll tell you what's available where, so you're not making a trip for nothing.

Working in this community

South Dundas has always been an agricultural community, and farming and agri-food remain the backbone of the local economy. Manufacturing has a real presence in and around Morrisburg too, including food processing. And because the township runs along the St. Lawrence, tourism and recreation add a seasonal layer — which means hiring here has a rhythm to it. If you're looking for seasonal work, timing matters, and we can help you get ahead of it rather than chase it.

A lot of people in South Dundas commute — to Cornwall, up Highway 31 toward Ottawa, or across to Brockville. That's a real option, but it's not the only one. There's more work close to home than most job boards show, partly because smaller local employers often hire through word of mouth rather than posting online. That's exactly the gap we're built to close.
